:: E.T News: Possible Lawsuits For T-Vice.

Edlover04 writes: "Below is a transcript of an article from clubdesfans.com about a possible lawsuit against T-vice for plagiarism.

According to Junior D. StCyr, a host in Radio Soleil in NY, T-Vice has been accused of plagiarism by Guy Bordey. Author and composer, Mr Bordey affirms that the melody of the song "Bad Boy Lovers" on the album entitled "Sak te gen tan gen la" of T-Vice has been stolen by the latter. The original version of the song, entitled "Mizik", was composed by Mr. Bordey for Shine Slai. When contacting Nouvel Jenerasyon, the label company that produced the T-Vice album, Jacques stated that Ralph Delly is the one behind all these lies and rumor and he is doing that to sink the group down. Anyway, according to a source close to Guy Bordey, he is actually working with his lawyers on a lawsuit against T-Vice for plagiarism."

:: Haiti's Educational System.

Editorial

Panoramix writes: "The rest of the world is introducing computers in the classrooms. In Haiti children are still memorizing sentences that they don't even understand. I was involved in a small elementary school in Haiti. How I ended up there is a long story. During the first three days, I interviewed the entire staff. Out of 8 teachers only one knew which educational program they were following. The director before me had a job in the Mayor's office and stopped at the school once a week, I fired him. None of the teachers had teaching credentials, and I have a feeling that the preschool teacher could not perform simple arhitmetic. Out of 60 students that went for the State's " Certificat Primaire" last year 7 of them passed. I heard speeches from the director that I fired that encouraged the students to cheat. For the poor Hatians this " Certificat Primaire" is something that they are very proud of. Those parents make great sacrifices so their children can obtain this certificate."

Marco writes: "Here's an article MSN ran last year, stated that unattractive people earn less than their attractive counterparts. Basically if you are ugly and or fat you earn 5 to 10% less than someone who is prettier.
So, to all of you, if you are fat, hit the gym, or ugly, get a makeover before the next interview/review if you don't want to make less than what you deserve just because you still have some baby fat hanging around or have a face, society as a whole don't consider to be pretty. It's a very interesting article, give it your perusal.
Any comments?"

Excelsior writes: "Love. Forgiveness. Mercy. Grace. Goodness. Compassion. Kindness. Generosity.

Who in the world would be against these characteristics? Who could oppose such positive forces in a person's life? In other words, who could be against Christians? Who could call Christians nasty names, consider them dangerous, and seek to put as much distance as possible between themselves and Christians?

Who? Many people. But why? It's because in the Christians they already know, they do not observe love, forgiveness, compassion, goodness, kindness, mercy, grace, and generosity.

They won't see Christ and His attributes if we're standing in the way. If we have a self-serving agenda or cause, they'll see our hate instead of our love, our grudges instead of our forgiveness, our indifference instead of our compassion, our harshness instead of our goodness. Our lives need to be consistent with the message we proclaim (1 Thessalonians 2:1-12). "

La_belle writes: "Here are a few of the things learned at the Black Think Tank this week. Just the Facts:

1. The first Americans or native Americans going back to 13,000 BC were black! Look up the Folsom people who lived in Arizona.

2. Best reason to stop our use of the term African American and say Black. A white person who was born in Africa, who moves to America is an African American and qualifies for financial aid, etc., but will get the jobs/pay privileges afforded to whites.

3. Look up the Slavery Law of 1665 (which stayed in effect until 1968)
and the Maryland Doctrine of Exclusion (1638): both laws state that blacks must be excluded from the benefits afforded whites and that blacks must remain noncompetitive with whites, except in sports and entertainment."

Haiti

Drlove writes: "This is an article from haitiimpact.com and I felt compelled to bring it to your MONITOR with brute force. If we are not informed, others will always view us as a bunch of late Negroes of information. I tried my best to translate it into English. The original document is in French, you may click on the link above to read it as such.

It is nothing new to the avid readers of the truth around the globe. It is not a secret. Most people are aware of the fact that HAITI has the BLACK diamond buried deep under its land and its surrounding waters. One has to wonder why it is still unexploited.

At the beginning of 20th century, the physical and political card of the Island of Haiti, drawn up in 1908 by Mr. Alexandre Poujol and Henry Thomasset, announced a significant oil reservoir in Haiti in the vicinity of source of Rio Todo El Mondo,(Perhaps that’s where the name THOMONDE came from) Affluent of right-hand side of the river Artibonite, more known today under the name of Rivière of Thomonde."

Research

Drlove writes: "This syndrome was thought of as stress-related and was largely ignored.5% of the population -- much higher than the suspected 1% -- suffer from some form of hyperhidrosis.

"Hyperhidrosis can truly affect one's life and career, such as a police officer dropping a gun and having a suspect literally slip away, or a fireman not being able to pull a hose, or a banker unable to handle money due to severely sweating palms," says Ahn in a news release.

Figure a doctor with hyperhidrosis operating on you while he's thinking of his cheating wife. Not only that can cost him his job, but your life as well. According to researchers, there is a treatment please see your physician."
