    I'm Writing A Novel...
    July 27, 2006 @ 11:51 pm  {reads: 5643}

    I have taken up English Language and Literature for a major in college. (Yes, I put an end to the dancing career just for now.) Anyway I am planning on publishing a book by next year or so. I have already written over 40 pages of it. I have been working on it for several months. I am very excited about it. I haven't come up with a title for it just yet. But basically it's about 4 different women of 4 completely different lifestyles, with just one thing in common...they are all pregnant! They'll learn that drastic changes are going to have to be made in thier lives in order to take on the responsibility of motherhood. There are 4 main characters in the book:

    Rayne is a college dropout that makes a living out of exotic dancing. Stephanie is a high school honor student with an outstanding academic record. Nancy has a fiance and is excited about getting married. Susan is a well-respected woman of her 40s who works at a large business firm.

    My main objective was to focus on different kinds of women that have to deal with all of the ups and downs of pregnancy. It is often hard for women to deal with unplanned pregnancies, but this book gives women such as those mentioned, an unfound respect. Because there are women who are willing to deal with these hardships and take on the responsiblity of motherhood.

    Well they are around the same area. Rayne is African American, Stephanie is white, Susan is white, Nancy is multicultural. It's a regular book, but its got tasty dialouge.
