Here a little clip of Jimmy Jean-Louis in action about a subject that majority of Black Men and Women deal on a regular basis. After you watch the clip, what's your take on this matter?

You can't go wrong with this kind of scenes... They are controversial, people can relate to them and if played by great actors as in this instance, they can be very powerful.
In real life though, I am not too sure if blacks brothers are as irritated at the sight of their sisters dating white men as black women would be in a reverse scenario. Personally, I think that race matters very little when choosing a soulmate. To each their own and everyone else should butt out! |

To bring balance to every situation, there has got to be pros and cons on both sides and one who's judging this situation impartially has to agree that there are actually some weak ass "n****" out there while there are so many tired black men dealing with so many angry black women and "their little angry crew" with many shortcomings as well. And I think this rare clip shows more of the latter. While friends can be eye openers but majority of the time they can be the catalyst of future pain, regrets and despairs and angry black women tend to surround themselves with more angry black women.
I do agree when the tired black man says that it doesn't matter the color as long the person brings balance to one's life. I think that is a powerful statement and should just be that in a perfect world, but unfortunately it's not because no matter what balance it brings to one's love life, an interracial couple will have to deal with the prejudicial scrutiny of society. |
